City Paws Home Health was started in 2012 by Dr. Lauren Holtvoigt and Dr. Molly McLeod when they saw a great need for home care in the veterinary industry. After some research and enthusiastic encouragement from family and friends, City Paws Home Health was born.
Dr. Lauren Holtvoigt grew up in a small rural town near Dayton, Ohio, and ever since she was 8 years old, knew that her calling was to be a veterinarian. At a very young age, she was constantly drawn to animals, and they were drawn to her. Dr. Holtvoigt currently lives with her husband and the “clan” of two cats and two dogs who rule the household. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her favorite horse, Ruby, running, biking, and other outdoor activities. Dr. Holtvoigt is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and is dedicated to premium care and welfare of pets through City Paws Home Health.
Dr. Molly McLeod grew up on a small dairy farm near Westerville, Ohio. Active in 4-H from a young age, she grew up knowing she would always need animals in her life. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Dr. McLeod worked as a business analyst for several years before returning to her true calling of veterinary medicine.
Dr. McLeod received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University and currently resides in Columbus with her husband and 5 cats. She enjoys gardening, hiking and SCUBA diving in her free time.
